Hi, I'm Lars.
Uhoh, Why does Nsight© say my PCI Throughput is 95%?
Even though the road it took to lead me where I am today was and still is a long one. One thing was always certain for me. I was going to work in interactive media.
From my earlier formative experiences picking up Blender and not understanding anything about what was presented to me.
To writing fast paced interactive applications, I’ve always made sure to retain as much information about the subject at hand as I possibly could.
Now then, to somewhat more updated information.
Until about 2 years ago my vision was fully set on becoming a 3d artist in the industry (be it Modeling, sculpting, Texturing e.t.c.).
But as I grew in this vision it was becoming apparent to me that there was something more than just creating pretty art with the software I was given.
While I had always been exposed to electronics and programming from a young age it never fully gripped me
( let’s say my soaring aspirations as an 11 year old were a bit too high for my abilities then ),
Until the moment I started to realise the entire hidden world behind the GUI of the software I was using.
I started learning about OpenGL around two years ago. This discovery quickly turned my vision of the future 180 degrees.
Once I rendered my first rotating cube I sensed all the possibilities that lay in this newly found passion for programming.
OpenGL quickly got replaced by Vulkan which is still my goto graphics API.
Nowadays I'm fully focused on creating a cross API rendering engine(Vulkan, Directx12), In which small scenes can be authored.
